As one of our grant-funded programs focusing on strengthening the workforce through a $1,000,000 grant from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)/ Hamilton County Commissioners, IBEW/NECA Electrical Training Center gave this update:  

“Our Interim Credentials program is approaching the end of the first semester. We started with 54 seniors and currently have 52. We have a cohort of very good young men and women. A handful of Gamble seniors helped us host a group of Gamble Jr’s during Gamble’s intersession. They lead groups by explaining how to install cord caps on extension cords, then the Jr’s do it themselves. It was a great experience for all.”
