In-Demand Jobs Week is Back!

In-Demand Jobs Week is the statewide celebration of the jobs, industries, and skills that are in-demand in Ohio. Last year, OhioMeansJobs In-Demand Jobs Week shattered records by serving 1,482 employers — that’s a monumental 346% increase from the previous year and a wave of opportunities that benefited 1,615 job seekers!  Community leaders statewide are encouraged to partner in planning engaging events and activities that will inspire excitement and awareness among students and job seekers.

The Cincinnati-Hamilton County OhioMeansJobs Center, powered by the Workforce Council, is connecting job seekers and employers in Ohio’s top industries: healthcare, information technology, transportation & logistics, construction & trades, and manufacturing. These sectors are booming with opportunities and poised for significant growth. Particularly, the healthcare and IT sectors are expected to see considerable job increases across the United States from 2022-2032. Home health aides and software developers are projected to see growth rates of 21.7% and 25.7%, respectively, underscoring the critical demand in these fields.
