September is Workforce Development Month, and we invite you to get involved!
Activities to consider to support Workforce Development Month:
- For business leaders: Business Leaders United for Workforce Partnerships is circulating a business-only sign-on letter to demonstrate support for federal investments in skills training and workforce development, which will be sent to Congress. President Trump has recommended $1.6 billion in cuts across 11 critical workforce programs, and Congress will begin drafting these funding bills next. Signatories can include businesses and business membership organizations, but not individuals. The letter will close in September. Read the letter and sign.
