The Workforce Council of Southwest Ohio (WCSO) is seeking input from local employers through a survey to understand better how the “benefits cliff” affects employees and employers in our region. The benefits cliff occurs when workers lose public benefits (such as food assistance, childcare subsidies, or housing support) due to small increases in income, sometimes leaving them financially worse off after a raise or promotion.
