2021-2022 Annual Report: A Year of Tranformation

Becoming an Eligible Training Provider

Eligible Training Providers (ETPs) are entities with job training programs approved by the State of Ohio to provide Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)–funded training services.

Step One:

Visit the state of Ohio’s ETP application site, Workforce Inventory of Education and Training to complete your application.

Step Two:

Once that application is approved at the state level, send a screenshot of the approval to admin@cincyworkforce.org. After the screenshot approval is received, you will receive instructions on setting up a vendor agreement with Hamilton County Job & Family Services.

Effective July 1, 2023:  All Eligible Training Providers (ETPs) in Cincinnati-Hamilton County MUST also have a physical site/facility located in the Greater Cincinnati Metropolitan Statistical Area.  This local requirement is in addition to the above application approval with the State of Ohio’s Workforce Inventory of Education and Training (WIET) platform.

Effective for the 2023-2024 program year (and beyond), the Eligible Training Provider application period for new and subsequent applications (completing the above two steps) will take place between July 1 – September 30.

Applications received after that timeframe will be processed during next year’s application period.
