We network. We empower our community members to transform their jobs into careers and foster pride in their contributions to the community. We meet both people and businesses where they are to find their path forward.
We are an independent, nonpartisan organization focused on workforce development and innovation in Cincinnati and Hamilton County. Our diverse Board of Directors are comprised of regional leaders from business, education, organized labor, non-profit, and government. We oversee and implement the local area’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and collaborate with regional workforce partners to help strengthen the Tristate’s workforce ecosystem. We lead this work by setting the vision, policy, and performance expectations for the OhioMeansJobs (OMJ) regional workforce development system. The OMJ system and partners serve employers, job seekers, dislocated workers, veterans, youth & young adults, individuals with disabilities, returning citizens, and more.
We aim to lead the way in public workforce innovation, providing outstanding service to our diverse customer base, community, and region.
We’re dedicated to providing our employers with a prepared workforce by connecting job-seeking customers to opportunities that build their career readiness, thereby contributing to the growth of our community and region.
In order to use place elements other than text into the tabs below, “shortcodes” were used to link to templates. To make updates to those templated layouts you will need to go to the Templates section in Elementor. NOTE: the board members section is dynamic content that is pulled from the “Board Members” post section/data located in the left panel of the dashboard. Also the tabs layout on the mobile is not ideal, so the names and logo section have been duplicate to move outside of the tabs and are only set to show on tablet/mobile.
