The Workforce Council of Southwest Ohio is a 501(c)(3) Ohio chartered nonprofit organization. We are independent and nonpartisan, focused on workforce development and innovation in Cincinnati and Hamilton County. Our diverse Board of Directors is comprised of local leaders from business, education, organized labor, non-profit, and government. We oversee and implement the local area’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and collaborate with regional workforce partners to help strengthen the county’s workforce ecosystem and serve job seekers. We lead this work by convening employers to identify workforce needs and coordinating local organizations to provide support to address them.
We are ranked at the platinum level by Candid, a nationally known, respected organization that collects and publicly shares information about over 1.8 million nonprofit organizations. Find our profile on their website.

The Workforce Council of Southwest Ohio (WCSO) is seeking an experienced and motivated Compliance & Procurement Manager to join our team.
The position plays a critical role in ensuring organizational accountability, regulatory compliance, effective procurement practices, contract administration, policy development, and continuous improvement across our workforce development initiatives. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Compliance & Procurement Manager will oversee competitive procurements, support monitoring activities, and promote transparency and stewardship of public funds.
