Input requested for re-evaluation of K-12 industry-recognized credentials

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, along with Ohio Excels, are launching a three-year initiative to evaluate K-12 industry-recognized credential weights and create a new evaluation framework. The goal of this project is to ensure students have access to credentials that are truly high-value, leading to meaningful post-high school opportunities aligned with Ohio’s current and future workforce needs.

This is an opportunity to gather feedback from educators, administrators, and employers who interact with the K-12 industry-recognized credential system every day. The survey is open through April 30 to provide comments about the current and future systems. Please feel free to circulate the survey to interested partners.
