The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is federal legislation that funds the public workforce system. Per WIOA guidelines, local workforce boards must submit a WIOA plan every four years that supports the state plan and ensures the alignment of workforce services with state and local economic needs.

The Workforce Council of Southwest Ohio’s Local Plan is now available for review and comments (below). Anyone is welcome to submit comments on the plan through this form. The form will be open until Sept. 29, 2025.
